Varelyn is not a warehouse. I choose the pieces, I make sure the promises made are kept, and I answer every email myself, usually the same day.
If it turns up late, damaged, or not the way this page describes it, write to me and I will sort it out. That is the whole promise. I would rather lose the order than have you hand over something that doesn't land.

How big are they, really?
13.5 x 10.4 x 9cm for the Rose & Bear Box, and 8.7 x 9.7 x 9cm for the Eternal Rose Box. People in this category say more often than anything else that the box was smaller than they expected, so we would rather tell you up front than have it turn up as a surprise.
Which of the two boxes should I pick?
The Rose & Bear Box is the showier pick. It's cute and it's playful — the bear opens, the rose flips aside, the necklace was hiding behind it the whole time. It's the one that gets filmed and sent to the group chat.
The Eternal Rose Box is the grown-up choice. No bear, no theatrics — just a rose under glass with a small lever that turns it to reveal the necklace behind. It's quieter, more minimal, and it's the one that still looks right sitting on her shelf a year later. If she leans elegant over cute, pick that one.
When will it arrive?
Shipping is free anywhere in Europe. You get a shipping confirmation with tracking the moment it leaves, and we chase it if it stalls. If you are cutting it fine, email first and we will tell you honestly whether it will make it.
Do the box and the necklace arrive together?
Yes. They ship in one parcel with one tracking number, and the necklace is already placed inside the box. When it arrives it is ready to hand over — nothing to assemble, nothing to wrap.
What if it comes after the date I needed it?
Tell us and we refund it. A gift that arrives after the anniversary is not a gift, and we are not going to argue with you about it.
Is the rose real?
Yes, a real rose, preserved — not silk, not soap. It lasts forever and stays beautiful for a lifetime, with no water and no wilting. Keep it out of direct sunlight and damp rooms and it keeps its color.
Can I send it back?
Yes. 30 days to return it for any reason, and the 14-day right of withdrawal you have under EU law on top of that. If it arrives damaged, send a photo and we replace it — you do not need to post it back first.
Will she see what it is before she opens it?
No, plain outer box, no branding on the outside, no price on the paperwork.
Which colour should I pick?
Look at what she already wears rather than what she says she likes. Silver jewellery and cool colours go with the white and light blue boxes; gold and warm tones sit better with red or pink. If you are guessing, red reads as romantic and white reads as considered — those two are the safest.
Why does this cost more than the similar ones on Etsy?
